Gweithdy Cychwyn Busnes yn y Traeth / Business Start up Workshop at the Traeth 

Bydd cyfle i™r rhai hynny sydd yn cysidro cychwyn busnes fynychu sesiwn hyfforddi yn y Traeth, cartref Clwb Peldroed Porthmadog, ar ddydd Mawrth 9ed o Hydref rhwng 9.30yb a 5yp. Dymar tro cyntaf ers rhai blynyddoedd i sesiwn or fath gael ei chynnal yn y dref a gobeithio y gall yr unigolion mentrus hynny sydd au pryd ar gychwyn menter fasnachol gymeryd mantais o’r arlwy. Bydd yn cynnwys gwybodaeth am phob agwedd o gychwyn busnes “ yr ymchwil, sicrhau cyllid, cynllunio busnes, marchnata, gofynion statudol fel trethi a TAW ac yn y blaen. Fei threfnir gan Busnes Cymru a chaiff ei chyflwyno gan berson sydd a chefndir ym myd busnes ac mae™n rhad ac am ddim!
Yn ogystal ar y 23ain o Hydref rhwng 2yp a 6yh cynhelir Ffair Fusnes gyda nifer o stondinau a chyflwyniadau gan gyrff sydd yn cynnig gwasanaethau ar gyfer busnes o rhai egin i’r sefydlog.

There will be an opportunity for budding entrepruners to attend a free business start up session at the Traeth, the home of Porthmadog Football Club, on Tuesday 9th of October between 9.30am and 5pm. This is the first time for several years that such a presentation has been held in the town and the hope is that enterprising individuals in the area looking to establish their own business will take advantage of the provision. The session will cover all the relevant topics that need to be considered to start a business properly and ensure its long term viability. These will include research, financing the venture, business planning, marketing, statutory matters like tax and VAT and so on. Organised by Business Wales it will be presented by someone from a business background.
Also on Tuesday 23rd of October between 2pm and 6pm a Business Fair is being organised that is aimed at all kind of businesses from the sole trader to the well established larger company. Representatives from organisations that can offer practical help to businesses will be available as well as a number of presentations on support available.

Ffedarasiwn y Busnesau Bach yn y Ffair Fusnes / Federation of Small Businesses at the Business Fair

Cyhoeddwyd y bydd cynrychiolaeth o Ffedarasiwn y Busnesau Bach yn bresennol yn y Ffair Fusnes sydd i™w chynnal yn y Traeth dydd Mercher nesaf 31 o Ionawr (3yp-7yh). Corff yw™r FfBB sydd yn cynrychioli miloedd o fusnesau bychain led-led Prydain gan geisio sicrhau bod eu llais yn cael ei glywed gan yr awdurdodau perthnasol. Mae croeso i™r busnesau lleol hynny nad ydynt yn aelodau ddod draw dydd Mercher os am fwy o wybodaeth am ymaelodi a manteision yr aelodaeth. 

It has been announced that a representative of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) will be present at the Business Fair to be held at the Traeth next Wednesday 31st January (3pm-7pm). The FSB represents thousands of the smaller businesses throughout the UK, ensuring that their voices are heard in the corridors of power in Cardiff Bay and Westminster. Those local businesses that are not currently members are welcome to come along to hear what membership involves and the advantages of belonging to the FSB

Cyrsiau TG am ddim wedi ail ddechrau / FREE IT courses have restarted 

Mae y cyrsiau TG a fu mor llwyddiannus llynedd wedi ail ddechrau yng Nghanolfan Sgiliau Osian Roberts ar y Traeth. Fe™i cynhelir rhwng 1.30yp a 4yp pob dydd Iau. Maent yn addas ar gyfer rhywun sydd a rhywfaint o gefndir mewn cyfrifaduron ond angen datblygu eu sgiliau. Mae glin-gyfriaduron ar gael os nad ydych yn berchen un. Mae™r cyrsiau yn rhad ac am ddim. Trefnir y cyrsiau gan Coleg Meirion Dwyfor gyda tiwtor dwyieithog.

The IT courses that were successfully held last year have restarted at the Osian Roberts Skills Centre. They are held between 1.30pm and 4pm every Thursday. The course is designed for those people that have some basic IT skills but need to develop them. If you haven™t got a laptop then these are available at the centre and the course is completely free. They are organised by Coleg Meirion Dwyfor and the tutor is bilingual.

Ffair Fusnes ar Y Traeth / Business Fair at the Traeth 

Ffair Fusnes / Business FairCaiff Ffair Fusnes ei chynnal ar y Traeth ar ddydd Mercher 31ain o Ionawrgyda nifer o gyrff cefnogi busnes ar gael i gynnig gwybodaeth, cyngor a chefnogaeth ymarferol i fusnesau lleol. Yn bresennol fydd Busnes Cymru, , adrannau datblygu economaidd Cyngor Gwynedd, Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, Canolfan Cydweithredol Cymru, Gwasanaeth Cefnogaeth mewn Gwaith ac Adran Gwaith a Phensiynau y Llywodraeth.
Yn ôl Louise Todd, swyddog hyrwyddo cyfleusterau hyfforddi a datblygu Sgiliau y Clwb, “bydd y Ffair yn parhau rhwng 3yp a 7yn. Y bwriad yw bod mor anffurfiol a phosib ac nid oes angen gwneud unrhyw fath o apwyntiad. Os bydd angen sesiwn trafod un i un gyda rhai o™r swyddogion gellir gwneud hynny mewn ystafell arwahan. Bydd pob corff o unrhyw sylwedd sydd yn cynnig cefnogaeth ymarferol i fusnes yno. Cynhelir y Ffair yn y clwb cymdeithasol a Chanolfan Sgiliau Osian Roberts ar y Traeth ac mae digonedd o lefydd parcio yn rhad ac am ddim!”
Yn ol swyddog marchnata y Clwb, Dylan Rees, “Mae gennym dros 200 o fusnesau lleol sydd yn noddi neu hysbysebu gyda™r clwb, y mwyafrif ohonynt wedi gwneud hynny ers blynyddoedd. Dyma un ymdrech fach i roi rhywbeth yn ol iddynt, gan obeithio y cawn gefnogaeth, wybodaeth neu gyngor a all fod o fudd i™w busnes”

A Business Fair will be held at the Traeth on Wednesday 31st of January between 3pm and 7pm. The event is a joint effort between the club, the Welsh Government™s Business Wales support agency, the economic development departments of Gwynedd Council, Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, Wales Co-operative Centre, In Work Support Service as well as the Government™s Department for Work and Pensions.
According to Louise Todd, the officer responsible for promoting the Clubs meeting, training and skills development facilities “The aim is to be as informal as possible, it is a drop in event with no need for an appointment. If a confidential one-to-one session is required then we have separate rooms to accommodate that. The business support organisations that have signed up for the event cover the whole spectrum of business activities and visitors can talk to officers informally. The event will be held in our social club and Osian Roberts Skills Centre and there is ample free parking space”.
According to the club™s marketing officer Dylan Rees “ We have over 200 businesses that support us through advertising and sponsorship, many of them for years, and this event is but a small gesture to thank them for this. We hope that by visiting local businesses will receive information and advice that could help them to develop their enterprises”
